KZ ZST X: hybrid in-ear monitors with 2 drivers per side

The KZ ZST X are wired hybrid in-ear monitors: each earpiece combines one dynamic driver with one balanced armature. They include a detachable silver-plated 2-pin cable and are available in purple, cyan and black, with or without a microphone.

Sound

Sound: 1 dynamic driver and 1 balanced armature

Each earpiece houses a 10 mm dual-magnet dynamic driver for the bass and mids and a 30095 balanced armature for the treble.

With an impedance of 12 Ω and a sensitivity of 107 dB, they run straight from a phone, laptop or music player, with no amplifier needed.

Fit

They are worn with the cable routed behind the ear. Three sizes of silicone ear tips (S, M and L) are included to get the right seal for each ear.

Connection

Detachable cable and microphone version

The silver-plated cable measures about 125 cm.

It attaches to each earpiece with a standard 0.75 mm 2-pin connector, so it can be replaced if damaged or swapped for another cable. The same connector lets you go wireless with a KZ Bluetooth adapter that is compatible.

Also available with an in-line microphone.

Do the KZ ZST X have noise cancellation?

They have no active noise cancellation. They are in-ear earphones with silicone ear tips, which passively block outside noise by sealing the ear canal.
