KZ ESX: in-ear monitors with 12 mm dynamic driver
The KZ ESX are wired in-ear monitors with a single 12 mm dynamic driver, released as a special edition for KZ's tenth anniversary. They have a resin shell with an alloy faceplate and a detachable silver-plated flat 2-pin cable. Available in silver, with or without a microphone.

Sound: 12 mm dynamic driver
Each earpiece houses a 12 mm dynamic driver with a 5-micron liquid crystal diaphragm developed by KZ. According to the manufacturer, it stands out for its bass dynamics and upper-treble resolution.
With an impedance of 22 Ω and a sensitivity of 111.6 dB (±3), they run straight from a phone, laptop or music player, with no amplifier needed.

The shell is resin and the metal alloy faceplate has a cracked-texture relief.
Connection
Detachable flat silver-plated cable
The cable is flat and silver-plated, and measures 120 cm (±5 cm).
It attaches to each earpiece with a standard gold-plated 0.75 mm 2-pin connector, so it can be replaced if damaged or swapped for another cable. The same connector lets you go wireless with a KZ Bluetooth adapter that is compatible.
Also available with an in-line microphone.

They are worn with the cable routed behind the ear. Three sizes of silicone ear tips (S, M and L) are included to get the right seal for each ear.

KZ ESX frequently asked questions
Do the KZ ESX have noise cancellation?
They have no active noise cancellation. They are in-ear earphones with silicone ear tips, which passively block outside noise by sealing the ear canal.
Do they work with phones that have no headphone jack?
Yes, with a USB-C or Lightning to 3.5 mm jack adapter, or with a 0.75 mm 2-pin Bluetooth adapter.
Can the cable be replaced?
Yes. The cable is detachable and uses a standard 0.75 mm 2-pin connector.
What warranty do they come with?
3-year warranty against manufacturing defects, handled from Spain.
