KZ AXAS: in-ear earphones for FPS games
The KZ AXAS are wired in-ear earphones designed for shooter games, developed by KZ together with professional FPS players. They have a dynamic driver from 10 Hz to 20 kHz, a dual microphone with noise cancellation and a detachable 2-pin cable. They come in white or black, without microphone, with microphone and 3.5 mm jack, or with microphone and USB-C plug with sound card.

Sound
Sound tuned to locate footsteps and gunshots
They use a wideband dynamic driver developed by KZ, with a response of 10 Hz to 20 kHz and low distortion. The tuning brings out footsteps in the bass and gunshots in the treble so you know where they come from, and it was refined with professional FPS players in real matches.
They have 20 Ω impedance and 107 dB/mW sensitivity, so they get loud enough from a phone, a controller or a PC.
Versions
USB-C version with sound card
The USB-C version has a DSP sound card with physical buttons to switch between four modes:
- Music: balanced bass, mids and treble.
- Exclusive tuning: clear gunshots and precise positioning.
- Spatial audio: surround sound, with more present footsteps and ambience.
- Footstep enhancement: deeper bass to hear footsteps better.
The 3.5 mm versions do not have a sound card.
Microphone
Dual microphone with noise cancellation
The microphone versions use two microphones placed vertically on the cable, with hardware noise cancellation. They pick up the voice clearly even when the cable hangs freely and reduce background noise in voice chat and calls.
Fit
Fit and detachable cable
They are worn with the cable over the ear, so they stay put in long sessions without pressing on the ear. They include liquid silicone ear tips, thinner and softer, and an extra pair of silicone ear tips.
The silver-plated cable is 120 cm long (±5 cm) and connects with a gold-plated 0.78 mm 2-pin connector, so it can be replaced or swapped for a compatible KZ Bluetooth adapter that is compatible.

Which KZ AXAS version should I choose?
Without microphone if you only listen or use another microphone. With 3.5 mm microphone for controllers and phones with a headphone jack. With USB-C microphone for PCs, consoles or phones with USB-C, and to use the four modes of its sound card.
Does the sound card come with every version?
No, only with the USB-C version. The 3.5 mm versions do not have it.
What is the advantage of the USB-C version?
It plugs straight into the USB-C port of phones, tablets and computers, with no adapter. The 3.5 mm jack versions need an adapter on phones without a headphone jack.
Do they have noise cancellation?
They do not have active noise cancellation. By sealing the ear canal with the ear tips they block outside noise passively.
What warranty do they come with?
3-year warranty against manufacturing defects, handled from Spain.
