The KZ EDC Pro, the KZ EDX Lite and the KZ EDX were the three cheapest wired KZ in the shop and cost the same. All three have a dynamic driver and a detachable cable. The difference that matters most in the long run isn't the sound but the connector.
Notice
The KZ EDC Pro, the EDX Lite and the EDX are no longer sold in our shop. If you want a simple single dynamic driver KZ, see the KZ EDX Pro or the KZ EDX Ultra; we compare them in the EDX range guide.

- The EDX comes in the most colors; the EDC Pro lets you choose between two cables.

What really changes: Pin B or Pin C
All three use a 2-pin 0.75 mm connector, but in two different socket shapes. The EDX Lite uses Pin C, the same as almost all current KZ models. The EDX and the EDC Pro use Pin B, found on older models. How to tell them apart: Pin B or Pin C.
It matters if you later want to change the cable or use them wirelessly. Pin C works with the adapters KZ AN01, KZ AE01 and KZ AZ09, and with the replacement cables in our store. With Pin B, the compatible adapter is the KZ AZ09 in its Pin B version.
The driver in each one
The EDX uses a 10 mm dynamic driver with a compound magnet. According to KZ, its tuning is aimed at popular music, with clear vocals. The EDX Lite has a new-generation internal-magnet driver that KZ calls super-linear and which, according to the manufacturer, reduces distortion. For the EDC Pro, KZ highlights its dynamic range and powerful bass.
All three work with any phone. The EDX is rated at 112 dB of sensitivity and the other two at 108 dB, so the EDX plays slightly louder at the same volume.
Design and cable
The EDX Lite has a clear shell that shows the driver and a flat copper cable. The EDC Pro combines resin and metal, and is sold with a silver-plated cable or a flat copper cable. The EDX is resin with a glossy finish and comes in white, gray, blue-gray, black and clear.
